I am deeply concerned of the development in the last 2 month.

President Trump calling Zelenskyj a dictator having started the war was only the last drop.

Both Musk and Vance supported German party AFD a populistic right wing party with members who are Nazis. The leaders of the party do not distance themselves. I think it is right that German consumers boycott Tesla and sales dropped 76%.

This troubles me very much because of my family's history.

My uncle August Ellinger who was August Ellinger's son and visited Alfdorf-Haselbach. about 50 km east of Stuttgart in the sixties.
When winter came, he took out a towel and ice axe, chopped a hole in the ice in the stream and bathed there. He had learned that in Siberia. The Russians had accused him of collaborating with the Americans and sent him there to serve a sentence.
The reason for this was that the Russians had appointed him county governor after the war. His father August Ellinger was a Social Democrat and had worked for the national organization with housing construction for workers. I understand that Trumps trade war is a stupid idea according to Wall Street Journal and will lead to inflation. There are many jobless people and some experts expect a recession. Obviously there will come protests. Trump seems to be prepared by sending letters to universities that he will not allow “illegal” protests. He plans laws to forbid it that he is insulted. I heard he talked about using military against protests.

 Hitler send home parliament and governed by orders. Trump tries the same. Will courts stop him? He writes: To save the country is not unlawful. Napoleon said this. Hitler fired all in administration opposed to him. Trump does the same thing. Hitler said he is sent by God like Trump does. This legalizes to punish enemies because God is on their side. Hitler controlled the press. Trump said the press tells fake news and is an enemy of the people and tries to restrict their freedom of speech.

Many have asked how was it possible that Hitler could have such power. Look at the people around Trump they do not correct his lies and MAGA supporters seem to believe everything. Hitler started with 45% in the last free election, Trump has at the moment 47% approval. 48% dissapproval according to wikipedia “Approval at the beginning of the presidency” 29. January 2025.

So I am very concerned and supporting boycott is my contribution.
